Job summary

The position follows a 261-day / 8.0-hour work calendar with an hourly pay range of $16.13 to $19.24, plus a $3.50 per hour critical need stipend. Internal bids are encouraged from presently employed custodians and JCPS employees with housekeeping training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• Ability to perform basic commercial cleaning tasks in schools and office buildings.
• Ability to use/operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality cleaning of district buildings.
• Follow established practices, standards and methods.
• Perform tasks under the direction of the supervisor.
