Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a dependable custodian to join our school-based facilities team. No prior experience required; you will perform cleaning tasks across floors, walls, fixtures, windows, and restrooms, and assist with setup for events.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a diverse environment, pass a background check, and be willing to learn. We offer full- and part-time shifts with 1st and 2nd shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend duties of the position.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting; clean walls, fixtures, windows and glass doors.
• Restroom cleaning and supply replenishment; handle lightbulb replacement.
• Move and set up furniture for events as needed; report repairs.
