Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a Building Service Worker for Hallie Wells MS (Shift 2). The role involves cleaning, facilities and grounds upkeep in a school setting. Requires basic physical ability, with heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., and on-call emergency responsibilities during inclement weather.

Uniforms are provided and proper attire is required. This is a full-time evening position based in Clarksburg with an 80-hour bi-weekly schedule and 12-month working months.

Qualifications

• Completion of ninth grade required; High School or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of methods, materials and practices of building/grounds work.
• Ability to operate custodial and grounds care equipment; handle cleaning supplies safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of buildings and maintain grounds.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and inspect spaces for safety.
• Work flexible hours; overtime or night work may be required; respond to emergencies in inclement weather.
