Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee Sitka School District facilities. Based in Sitka, AK, you will supervise NMS janitorial staff, coordinate cleaning schedules, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations across district buildings.

You will partner with Sitka School District administration and NMS management to support daily operations, reporting, and improvements while maintaining the company’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of related janitorial experience with supervision.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Must pass pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, etc.).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily janitorial activities.
• Assign work and monitor performance to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of offices, restrooms and common areas for cleanliness.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate janitorial staff on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate special cleaning projects and emergency cleanup activities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate replenishment.
