Qualifications

• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Certified as a Crossing Guard Trainer by the Florida Department of Transportation within six (6) months of employment.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirements.
• May be required to successfully complete and pass required skills testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage School Crossing Guard Supervisors and School Crossing Guards.
• Perform traffic safety duties of standard complexity.
• Oversee training of both new and existing school safety officers.
• Coordinate various administrative processes within a District/Section.
• Function in a specialized technical or operational role.
