Job summary

Responsibilities include guiding traffic, teaching children crossing safety, and explaining rules to families at intersections and crosswalks while maintaining safety and delivering customer service.

Qualifications

• 8th grade education and 0-12 months of related experience.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Must pass DMV record check, background investigation, credit check, employment physical, and hearing and vision screening.
• Must be proficient in the operation of motor vehicles and have suitable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct pedestrians across streets and stop traffic as needed.
• Direct traffic movement and warn hazards.
• Explain crossing rules to students and adults.
• Document unsafe behaviors and incidents.
• Prepare routine daily activity reports.
