Qualifications

• Ability to read English and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to observe situations analytically and report clearly.

Responsibilities

• Directs actions of children at street intersections to ensure safe crossing.
• Records license numbers of vehicles disregarding signals and reports infractions.
• Observes vehicles and pedestrians near school crosswalks and reports suspicious activity.
• Notifies when a child is uncooperative or abusive.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance (2 excused absences per year objective).
• Follows safety regulations and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor promptly.
