Saint Louis Counseling, a ministry of the Archdiocese, seeks a School Counselor to provide counseling and therapeutic services in school-based and community settings. The role emphasizes collaboration with educators, families, and partners to promote access to services and student success.

Requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and active Missouri licensure or progress toward licensure. Starting compensation is $46,000 annually and commensurate with qualifications and licensure.

Formación

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Active clinical licensure or actively working toward licensure in the State of Missouri (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, PLPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families, preferably in school-based or community-based settings.
• Experience collaborating with schools, community organizations, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, clinical documentation standards, and productivity expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain an active caseload and provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, family, group, and crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, and families in school-based and community-based settings.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with schools, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to support positive client outcomes and access to needed services.
• Develop and facilitate treatment groups, educational presentations, prevention programs, and other services that address client and community needs.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and related records.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as appropriate to support treatment goals and successful outcomes.
• Participate in professional supervision, agency meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities.
• Support agency initiatives, outreach activities, community partnerships, and marketing efforts that increase awareness of School Partnership Program services.
• Participate on agency committees, projects, and special assignments and perform other duties as assigned.
