Diocese of St. Augustine is seeking a part-time School Counselor at Cathedral Parish School to provide individual and group counseling to students under the supervision of the Principal.

The role supports the Catholic mission, schools’ faith community, and a collaborative approach with teachers and parents. Qualifications

• Master’s degree and an active Florida guidance counseling credential or equivalent LMHC/LMFT license.
• Experience in special education preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; proficient with basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students under the direction of the principal.
• Support the school's Catholic mission and participate in faith-based activities as needed.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding counseling needs and student interventions.
• Collaborate with staff to promote positive behavior and academic success.
• Maintain documentation and student records related to counseling services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
