Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field required.
• Current/state guidance counselor certificate in Florida.
• Strong communication, confidentiality and ethics.
• Experience with school-based counseling preferred.
• Able to work with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and supports Catholic mission in the school.
• Demonstrates Gospel values and faith community involvement.
• Identify and develop intervention methods for student needs.
• Serve as resource for teachers and parents on counseling.
• Collaborate with staff to plan behavior management strategies.
• Maintain documentation and student progress records.
• Guide teachers in classroom management and referrals.
• Coordinate with outside resources as needed.
• Monitor student activities and report interventions.
• Complete background check and PGC certification.
