Job summary
Frisco ISD is seeking a Counseling professional to assist in providing guidance and counseling services to students. You will be responsible for teaching developmental guidance curriculum, counseling students with various needs, and collaborating with faculty and parents to enhance student support. A Master's Degree in Counseling and a valid Texas counseling certification are preferred. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills as part of a dedicated educational environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development.
Ability to manage student behavior effectively.
Responsibilities
Teach campus developmental guidance curriculum tailored to campus needs.
Counsel individual students and small groups with identified needs.
Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student needs.
