Odyssey Charter School seeks an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist to provide direct mental health counseling to students, under supervision. You will develop treatment plans, collaborate on ERMHS assessments, and contribute to IEP/504 goals, while advocating for students and coordinating services with families and staff.

Qualifikationen

• Earned graduate degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling.
• Actively pursuing LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT licensure.
• Possess valid California registration as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC.
• Possession of or working toward a California PPS credential preferred.
• Experience working in a California School District or educational setting preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk or special education students preferred.
• Ability to use discretion and good judgment with confidential information.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Efficient organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to assist students in overcoming behavioral or emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
• Collaborate with staff to perform ERMHS assessments and develop service/placement recommendations.
• Contribute to IEP and/or 504 goals and planning for students.
• Advocate for students and coordinate services or crisis interventions as needed.
• Refer students or family members to community resources or specialists.
• Evaluate counseling program effectiveness and student progress toward objectives.
• Plan and conduct in-service education for school professionals on mental health topics.
• Maintain required treatment records and reports and protect confidentiality.
• Communicate with staff and families to support student progress at home and school.
