Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. in Kailua, Hawaii is seeking a part-time School Counselor to advocate for students, support their behavioral, emotional, and social development, and contribute to a safe, inclusive school environment.

You will conduct small-group and individual counseling for K-8 students, coordinate referrals, and connect families with community resources, while maintaining accurate paperwork and following school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in a counseling setting in grades K-8 desired.
• Degree in education and/or counseling highly preferred.
• Experience working with online tools (Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Microsoft Forms, Excel)

• Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling.

• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
• Serve Title I eligible students on the school campus through individual counseling and/or group counseling
