Job summary

Usd458 is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to support health services for students. The role requires medical certification, CPR, and up to one year of experience, with the ability to operate a Hoyer lift for transfers.

The CNA will assist with mobility, toileting, and ensuring a safe, sanitary clinic environment. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant with up to one year of experience.
• Ability to use a Hoyer lift to assist students with transferring.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with mobility needs during lunch and toileting.
• Maintain sanitary clinic areas and cleanliness of sinks and counters.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for easy access.
• Notify nurse/principal of incidents for student safety.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Demonstrate empathetic communication with students and staff.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of involved individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
