Job summary

A position for school cleaners at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. requires maintaining classrooms by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising. You will restock supplies, report issues, and ensure safe chemical use in line with COSHH.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with two blocks: 06:00–09:00 and 15:00–18:00. DBS background checks are required for safeguarding compliance. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Safety first: Know how to use cleaning chemicals safely. You must also follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) rules.
• Fitness: Be able to lift, bend, and move lightweight classroom furniture.
• Safeguarding: All school staff must pass a background check. In the UK, this is an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Teamwork: Work well with site managers and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Daily upkeep: Sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
• Restroom hygiene: Disinfect toilets, sinks, and urinals, and refill hand soap and toilet paper.
