Job summary

Marlborough Public Schools is seeking a Cafeteria Worker Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The role reports to the Cafeteria Manager and is offered as a part-time, on-site position with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Starting date is To Be Determined. Responsibilities include meal prep, cleaning, stocking supplies, and supporting cafeteria operations as needed by the Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred.
• Basic knowledge of math.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals for delivery in the community and lunches for students if necessary in school.
• Wash pots/pans, etc.
• If needed stock milk and other supplies.
• Wash down tables.
• Assist in wiping down cafeteria area.
• Assist in sweeping floor.
• Assist with other duties as necessary– see Manager.
