Job summary

The Triton Regional School District is seeking a Substitute Cafeteria Worker to help provide nutritious meals to students across Newbury, Rowley, and Salisbury. The role supports food service operations, assists in meal prep and serving, and helps maintain cleanliness throughout the cafeterias.

Responsibilities include stocking, serving, cleaning, and assisting with daily kitchen tasks. This is a part-time, on-site position with a daily at-will employment status and a $20 per hour wage.

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner
• Serve students and staff from the cafeteria counter
• Assume responsibility for replenishing food during meal service
• Remove used dishes and assist in cleaning counters, tables, and dining area
• Assist in daily kitchen and service area cleanup
• Major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms on schedule
• Storage and disposal of unused foods
• Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee
• Collect meal charges from students and staff
