The Diocese of Allentown's Saint Jerome Regional School in Tamaqua is seeking a Substitute Cafeteria Worker for the school lunch program. This part-time, as-needed role supports food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining sanitation according to state guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting the Cafeteria Manager with daily operations, following dietary requirements, handling the lunch register, and ensuring safe, fresh meals for students.

Formación

• High School diploma preferred.
• Experience in school or food service is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow directions from Cafeteria Manager and Principal.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food for lunch following dietary and health guidelines.
• Assist with purchasing and storing groceries and supplies as needed.
• Operate or assist with the lunch register and token collection.
• Maintain sanitation standards and rotate food to ensure freshness.
• Serve meals to students and handle leftovers per production standards.
• Keep refrigerators and workstations clean and organized between lunch periods.
