Job summary

Northampton Public Schools in Northampton, MA is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant to join the school food service team. The role supports meal preparation, operates the POS system, and helps ensure meal accountability and service at RK Finn Ryan Road Elementary School.

Work is Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day on school days, with an hourly pay rate of $21.90. Start date is as soon as possible; prior food-service experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Some food service experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system and ensure meal accountability.
• Assist cook and other cafeteria staff with meal preparation and service.
• Perform cleaning and dish duties to maintain a sanitary lunchroom.
