Job summary

Regis Corporation seeks a Food Service Worker in New Jersey to prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals in a friendly, efficient, and clean cafeteria, while maintaining related paperwork accurately.

You will be a team player, assisting in meal preparation, serving, cleanup, POS duties, deposits, inventory, and daily reporting, rotating duties as directed by the Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• Pass state-required background check and fingerprinting to work in NJ schools.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and cafeteria setup.
• Check with Kitchen Manager for daily prep assignments.
• Prepare daily menus.
• Set up serving lines, napkins, utensils, trays and condiments.
• Serve nutritious meals to students in a friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and complete housekeeping in the cafeteria.
• Assist with inventory, deposits and POS daily reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
