Job summary

Nutri-Serve is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a friendly, efficient, and clean environment. You will assist in meal prep, menu planning, and cafeteria setup while maintaining accurate paperwork and good customer service.

In this role, you will work as part of a team, participate in daily inventory and POS tasks as needed, and help uphold a positive dining experience for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a positive approach.
• Patience and the ability to maintain a caring attitude towards children.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to interact successfully with customers and Nutri-Serve employees.
• Knowledge of food preparation, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and cafeteria setup.
• Check daily prep assignments with Kitchen Manager.
• Assist in preparing daily menus.
• Set up napkins, serving utensils, trays and condiments.
• Set up daily snacks on the cafeteria line.
• Assist in checking food shipments and verify orders.
