Norwell Community Schools is hiring a Food Service Personnel at Norwell Middle School. The role supports preparing, cooking, and serving meals to students and staff, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and compliance with USDA guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED and may have 1–3 months related experience. The position runs Monday to Friday when school is in session, starting at $17.00 per hour for the 2025-2026 year, with wages and benefits determined by the School Board.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to groups.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for students and employees.
• Meet state and federal regulations for food service.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards of USDA guidelines.
• Report issues to Food Service Manager and handle faulty food.
• Assist with kitchen and lunchroom equipment and cleanup.
• Perform other food service tasks as assigned.
