Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend recipes, work assignments and in-service information.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong organizational, math, and reading skills.
• Ability to follow district, state and federal requirements and board policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of food.
• Help maintain a clean and safe cafeteria environment.
• Adhere to recipes and scale as needed for quantity.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Manage weekly invoices and required paperwork.
• Collaborate with staff, students and district personnel.
