Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker for Biddeford High School in Biddeford, Maine. This full-time role covers 5 hours per day, handling food preparation, serving, cashier duties, and daily meal coordination.

The position requires assisting the Kitchen Manager or Cook, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting a team-focused school environment. A fingerprint-based background check is required.

Qualifications

• Criminal history background check required (CHRC) with fingerprints on file per Maine Department of Education guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods as directed by the Kitchen Manager or Cook.
• Clean all work areas when tasks are completed.
• Serve breakfast and lunches in the serving line.
• Prepare items for the next days meals as needed by the manager/cook.
• Serve as a cashier at the Point of Sale system and record sales and meal counts.
