Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining at Savannah Christian Prep School in Savannah, GA is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our campus dining team. You will assist with food preparation, presentation and serving in a busy school kitchen.

Full-time and part-time shifts run Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Prior fry-cooking experience preferred, and successful candidates will follow safety standards and assist with cleanliness and portion control.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and serving.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients; carries pans and trays to/from work stations.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures; maintains clean work areas.
• Distributes supplies and utensils; enforces proper food safety and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner; resolves concerns with supervisor.
