Chartwells K-12 in Newtown, CT is hiring for a full-time COOK to prepare meals in a school setting. The role runs 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with every effort to train for NSLP - USDA. Prior school cooking experience is required and benefits include weekends, holidays, and summers off.

Location: Newtown Public Schools; Pay: $21.00 per hour. Safety standards like HACCP are emphasized and the team collaborates closely with administrators and staff.

• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor promptly.
