Chartwells K-12 in Old Lyme, CT is hiring for full-time and part-time COOK positions. Schedule typically 7:00 am–1:30 pm with days varying, and location at Region 18 Schools.

Prior food service experience is preferred. ServSafe certification is a plus but not required. The company offers training, benefits, and a pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

You will follow HACCP standards, maintain clean facilities, and work closely with staff to deliver quality meals to students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery with correct portions and temperatures.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and attend in-service meetings.
