Chartwells K-12 is hiring for full-time and part-time COOK positions at Region 18 Schools, 69 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT 06371. Schedules run 7:00 am to 1:30 pm; prior food service experience preferred and ServSafe certification is a plus. Pay range is $17.00–$18.00 per hour with internal referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensures food is at correct temperature and appealing.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe handling standards in the kitchen.
• Follows HACCP standards and company policies.
