Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and supervision of the kitchen, ensuring presentation of cafeterias and quality, appearance, and taste of all foods prepared.
• Cooperate with district policies and regulations.
• Coordinate lunch and breakfast service with the educational program.
• Schedule catering staff to ensure coverage for events.
• Manage budgetary controls and minimize food waste; ensure proper portion sizes.
• Oversee sanitation and HACCP record-keeping procedures.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering processes.
• Prepare reports and assist with sales activity and bank deposits.
• Oversee food temperatures, menu planning, and dietary accommodations for events.
• Supervise catering staff and provide training on food prep and safety.
