• Participates in on-the-job training to understand reimbursable meals and serving line ID.
• Reads and follows recipes for food preparation in a school cafeteria.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area, equipment and utensils per sanitation codes.
• Performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping tables.
• Follows Wake County Public School System Child Nutrition Handbook policies.
• Provides effective communication and customer service to students, parents, and staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
