Job summary

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Associate (15 hours per week) to manage lunch duties and ensure smooth service for enrolled students.

Responsibilities include processing daily lunch orders, verifying counts, reconciling lunches for billing, accepting deliveries, setting up trays, and maintaining health and sanitation standards throughout service.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification required and maintained.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition and cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills (written and oral).
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify daily student lunch orders by grade.
• Confirm counts and ensure hot meals are placed in the warmer.
• Assist in reconciling all received lunches for billing.
• Accept delivered lunches from satellite kitchen.
• Set up trays, utensils and lunches for three lunch periods.
• Ensure that all lunches are received by each student participating.
• Responsible for cleaning trays, counters, and cleanliness of the kitchen floor daily.
• Ensure all health and sanitation guidelines are in place as directed by the School and Parish.
• Assist in food preparation when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
