Job summary

St. Francis Area Schools ISD 15 is hiring a part-time Nutrition Services worker to assist with meal preparation and service in the campus cafeteria. Schedule is 5 hours per day from 9:15 to 2:15, with duties prorated from 171 duty days.

Responsibilities include portioning food, maintaining sanitation, operating the POS register during meals, supervising students, and supporting the Kitchen Manager. A high school diploma and experience with children or in schools are preferred; this position is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required by end of probationary period.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Panning food items and serving food in proper portions and quantities.
• Must be able to follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Must be able to operate the dishwasher effectively, efficiently with sanitation in mind.
• Prepare food as needed and perform clean-up tasks on a rotation.
• May operate the POS register during meal service and provide excellent customer service to students.
• Clean food service areas and cafeteria areas, monitor students in lunch line and behavior.
