Job summary

Wayzata-Public-Schools is hiring a Cafés Assistant at East Middle School to join our School Nutrition team. The role supports meal preparation, serving, and clean-up in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.

The position is a part-time, non-benefit eligible role with a start time of 9:15am and end at 2:00pm, 4.75 hours daily, at $24.18 per hour. Previous institutional kitchen experience is preferred and training is provided to maintain district standards.

Qualifications

• Prev. experience in an institutional kitchen.
• Experience with quantity food production.
• Basic math and computational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures as established by the district.
• Coordinate with supervisor on work priorities and information.
• Prepare, serve and assist with cleanup of meals per recipes and standards.
• Attend in-service trainings and maintain safety practices.
