Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or package food items; assemble ingredients; heat, package and wrap food items according to procedures and portion controls.
• Maintain food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition according to HACCP standards; clean serving areas, counters, tables, furniture, and equipment; operate dishwashers and wash trays.
• Prepare and assemble entrees, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, desserts; chop and portion foods; help ensure proper food temperatures.
• Assist with receipt, storage and rotation of food items; assist with inventory activities; open cans and replenish containers.
• Safely operate standard food service equipment (ovens, slicers, carts, can openers, warmers, kettles, mixers).
• Maintain routine records related to assigned activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Administrator.
