Job summary

Newington Public Schools is accepting applications for Cafeteria Aides. The successful applicant must have good communication skills, interact positively with school personnel, parents and students, and be available to work mid-day for approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours, Monday through Friday at any elementary or middle school.

Openings are Districtwide with a starting hourly pay of $16.94. Applicants must pass a criminal background check. Position is on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to interact with school personnel, parents and students in a positive manner.
• Available to work mid-day for approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours, Monday through Friday at elementary or middle schools.
