Newington Public Schools is seeking Cafeteria Aide substitutes to support mid-day service across district elementary and middle schools. Starting hourly rate of pay is $16.94, with flexible, on-call scheduling Monday through Friday as needed.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, positive interactions with students, families and staff, and must pass a criminal background check. Closing date 09/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have the ability to interact with school personnel, parents and students in a positive manner.
• Work on an as needed basis Monday through Friday at any of the elementary or middle schools.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
