Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods.
• Promote and enforce school rules and appropriate student behavior.
• Assist younger students with opening food containers, utensils, and general needs.
• Monitor student movement to and from the cafeteria during transitions.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and eating areas between lunch periods.
• Respond to minor student issues and refer serious concerns to staff.
• Support cafeteria staff with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Ensure student safety, including awareness of allergies and special considerations.
• Report incidents or concerns to administration promptly.
