Qualifications

• Associates Degree-Technical School OR Two years or work related experience.
• Class A or B CDL, OR the ability to obtain.
• Endorsements: Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) or as Required.
• Ability to pass medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain specialty vehicles and trucks including electrical systems, diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, drivetrains, etc.
• Work in a collaborative environment with other technicians.
• Understand maintenance performance on gas- and diesel-powered vehicles and related systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and stations.
• Request parts needed, read technical drawings, and use parts catalogs.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, supervisors, managers and customers.
