Job summary

Krapf Group in West Chester, PA is seeking a field position to assist the Operations Manager, Transportation Assistant or Dispatcher with daily transportation functions, including resourcing, monitoring, paperwork completion, and addressing passenger relations within the Operations Excellence Program.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete any company, state, federal required training and recertification
• Ability to effectively manage student behavior in a non-confrontational manner
• Ability to manage vehicle and student emergencies in calm, appropriate manner
• Successful completion of all background checks required by company or school district upon hire and ongoing requirements

Responsibilities

• Accompany the school bus driver on the regularly scheduled route as approved and assigned by the school district
• Assist the driver in managing student behavior to ensure student safety
• Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of physically disabled or non-ambulatory students as needed
• Assist the driver with securing special seats, restraining devices or medical aids required by students
• Assist the driver with student emergencies and bus evacuation as necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of student personal and medical information
• Other work-related duties as assigned
