Job summary

Krapf Group is seeking a field position to support daily transportation operations, including resourcing, paperwork, and addressing passenger relations within the company’s Operations Excellence Program.

You will accompany the school bus driver on routes, help manage student behavior, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure safety for students including those who are disabled, while maintaining confidentiality and complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete any company, state, federal required training and recertification.
• Ability to effectively manage student behavior in a non-confrontational manner.
• Ability to manage vehicle and student emergencies in calm, appropriate manner.
• Successful completion of all background checks required by company or school district upon hire and ongoing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the school bus driver on the regularly scheduled route as approved and assigned by the school district.
• Assist the driver in managing student behavior to ensure student safety.
• Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of physically disabled or non-ambulatory students as needed.
• Assist the driver with securing special seats, restraining devices or medical aids required by students.
• Assist the driver with student emergencies and bus evacuation as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of student personal and medical information.
• Other work-related duties as assigned.
