Job summary

Reliant Student Transport, LLC is seeking a dedicated School Bus Route Driver to safely transport passengers along designated routes, including children and individuals with disabilities, while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a clean driving record, ability to perform pre-trip inspections, and clear communication with dispatch.

CDL training is paid by us; background checks may be required; prior childcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver27s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving preferred, but not required.
• Basic mechanical understanding to perform pre-trip inspections.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by company policies.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Previous experience in childcare or working with children is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or passenger needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers.
