Job summary

Reliant Student Transport, LLC is seeking a dedicated School Bus Route Driver to safely transport students along designated routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist passengers including children with disabilities, and maintain accurate ride records while upholding excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean record, English communication, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical understanding for pre-trip inspections.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records.
• Must pass background checks as required by company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bus on assigned routes and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Assist passengers during boarding and disembarking, including children and passengers with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate passenger counts, mileage, and incident reports.
• Communicate efficiently with dispatch and team about route changes or passenger needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Comply with all traffic laws and company policies.
