Job summary

Maumee Valley Country Day School seeks an experienced Bus Operator to transport students on morning routes and support afternoon runs when required. You will operate large yellow school buses, perform pre-service inspections, and ensure safety for riders throughout the trip.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio driver’s license with a school bus endorsement.
• Must be certified to operate a yellow school bus in Ohio.
• Pass mandated yearly physical and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 42 and 54 passenger yellow school buses for regular routes.
• Transport riders safely and professionally during morning routes; may run afternoon route as needed.
• Maintain daily pre-service bus inspections and document results.
• Communicate effectively with riders, coworkers, supervisors and parents.
