Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.
• Pass a required physical examination.
• Have at least three years of experience as a licensed driver.
• Pass DMV driving record check.
• Pass a drug/alcohol screening.
• Complete 40 hours of classroom training and 20 hours of behind-the-wheel training.
• Hold First Aid/CPR certification.
• Hold WV School Bus Operator's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses and related transportation vehicles as assigned by the district.
• Comply with all WV Board of Education transportation policies.
• Follow the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook and district procedures.
• Routes and locations may vary as determined by the Coordinator of Transportation.
