VANCEBORO FARM LIFE ELEMENTARY is seeking a Bus Monitor to assist the driver in maintaining discipline and safety on the school bus. You will help with loading, seating arrangements, and basic record-keeping to ensure a smooth transport process.

Responsibilities include assisting handicapped students, coordinating seating, and communicating with teachers and aides. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations for student transportation.
• Ability to document and maintain records as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist bus driver in maintaining discipline on the bus.
• Document student information and route surveys with the driver.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and seating per guidelines.
• Coordinate seating for pre-kindergarten students per state guidelines.
• Assist handicapped students and monitor them during trip.
• Attend training sessions as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
