Job summary

DS Bus South LLC is seeking a Part-time School Bus Monitor (Bus Aide) to assist students with boarding, exiting, and arrival procedures, ensuring a safe environment and enabling the Driver to focus on driving. Training is paid, with compensation per hour and a focus on safety and customer service.

Essential duties include greeting students, assisting as needed, and performing safety checks, with a strong emphasis on child safety, orderly conduct, and reliable teamwork with school personnel.

Qualifications

Part-time School Bus Monitor.

The Bus Aide will help students board the bus, depart from the bus, and arrive safely at their destination. Maintaining a safe environment for students and ensuring the Driver can focus on driving responsibilities are the most important tasks of the Bus Aide. Compensation for this position is between $14.75 and $16.00. Training is paid at $8.00
