Job summary

DS Bus Lines, INC. (Beacon Mobility) is seeking a Part-time School Bus Monitor to assist the Driver in boarding and safe arrival of students. The Bus Aide helps maintain a safe environment and ensures students depart and reach destinations safely.

The role involves greeting students, assisting as needed, and performing safety checks at the end of each route. Training wage starts at $8.00/hour, with post-training pay DOE $11.26–$13.46.

Responsibilities

• Greet students in a pleasant manner.
• Help students as necessary.
• Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination.
• Perform child checks at the conclusion of every tour of duty.
• Always maintain a safe environment on the bus.
• Kneeling and fastening wheelchair restraints
• Bending and stooping as needed to assist with various tasks
• Ascending and descending stairs of school bus
• Fastening children securely in seats
• Performing other related tasks as required
