Community Unit School District 308 is seeking qualified candidates to become School Bus Monitors for the district. Start/end times vary by routes with a split shift, generally 5:45am–9:15am and 1:45pm–5:15pm.

The role supports student safety and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus ability to handle emergencies and pass required checks. Benefits include full-time healthcare options, paid life and disability insurance, EAP, and several paid time off categories.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle emergencies, provide first aid, and support student safety.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug, alcohol, background and TB tests.

Responsabilités

• Assist bus driver with the safety, movement, management and care of students.
• Learn and adapt to each student's medical, physical, communicative and emotional needs.
• Serve as a role model demonstrating a positive attitude and self-control.
• Protect the confidentiality of student records and information.

Community Unit School District 308 (SD308) is seeking qualified candidates to become School Bus Monitors for the district.

Start/End Times: Vary based on routes split shift is generally between 5:45am9:15am and 1:45pm5:15pm.

Compensation

• $18.00 p/h
• Annual attendance bonus opportunity
• Please note that the hourly rate of pay is inclusive of the mandatory 4.5% retirement contribution to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).

PAID TIME OFF: This benefit includes:
