Job summary

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicle malfunctions on assigned vehicles to determine repairs or replacements.
• Inspects vehicles for safety and operating condition.
• Performs routine maintenance to keep vehicles in safe condition.
• Projects road tests to verify repairs and safety.
• Responds to road calls for emergency repairs.
• Trains and instructs assistant mechanics to ensure compliance with guidelines.
