Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on buses per schedule.
  • Inspect buses multiple times per year to meet district standards.
  • Assist in preparing fleet for annual State Highway Patrol Inspection.
  • Change oil, filters, fluids, and lubricate buses.
  • Maintain service records for district vehicles.
  • Be responsible for district-owned tools and equipment.
  • Assist in cleaning the shop as needed.
  • Substitute driving routes as necessary.
  • Arrive on time according to the assigned schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with administrators, staff and community.
  • Fulfill duties as directed by the transportation director.
